JUNIOR STRUCTURAL DESIGNER

CU Phosco are looking for a Junior Structural Designer to support our structural design team.

The role will involve the production of sales and works drawings of our existing product range to specify individual customer requirements. The role will also involve supporting the development of new products, continuous improvement of existing product ranges, production of technical sales aids, and engineering design checks using in-house design tools (training will be provided). All design work will be done using Solidworks 3D CAD.

Proficiency in the use of Solidworks 3D CAD and Microsoft office software are a prerequisite for this role.

An understanding of structural and mechanical engineering fundamentals will be a significant advantage, as will good communication skills.

Confident, enthusiastic, and articulate candidates with an ability to manage a varied workload as detailed above will be viewed favourably. Our ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate a creative drive and have experience in using Solidworks. A competitive salary will be paid, dependent on the experience of the candidate.
