Following more than 30 years of successfully representing Nedal Aluminium in the UK and Ireland, during which The Aluminium Lighting Company (ALC) established the Nedal brand as one of the market leaders for aluminium lighting columns, ALC has taken the decision to conclude its operations through a planned business transition.
Over the past three decades, ALC has helped transform the UK market for aluminium lighting columns by introducing innovative products, pioneering new applications and building an outstanding reputation for engineering expertise, technical support and customer service. As part of this orderly transition, the company will enter a Members' Voluntary Liquidation (MVL).
To ensure complete continuity of supply and customer support, Nedal and ALC have worked closely together to appoint C.U. Phosco as Nedal's new distribution partner for the UK and Ireland.
C.U. Phosco is one of the UK's leading manufacturers of lighting columns, high masts, telecom masts, connected urban poles, CCTV masts, LED road lighting luminaires and floodlighting solutions. The appointment brings together two companies with long established reputations for quality, engineering excellence and customer service.
The new distribution arrangement will take effect from 1 September. C.U. Phosco will continue to supply and support all customers who have purchased Nedal products through ALC, ensuring uninterrupted product availability, technical advice and after-sales support throughout the UK and Ireland.
For more than three decades, ALC has worked alongside local authorities, contractors, consultants, infrastructure owners and major contractors to deliver thousands of aluminium lighting columns across highways, rail, airports and public realm projects. Together, Nedal and ALC have helped demonstrate the long-term performance, sustainability and whole-life value of aluminium lighting columns, establishing the Nedal brand as a recognised benchmark within the UK lighting industry.
This transition reflects the strong and longstanding relationship between Nedal, ALC and C.U. Phosco and has been carefully planned to ensure customers continue to receive the same high standards of quality, technical expertise and service that have characterised the Nedal brand for more than 30 years.

About the Transition
The appointment of C.U. Phosco as Nedal's UK and Ireland distribution partner will become effective on 1 September.
Existing customers will continue to receive uninterrupted access to Nedal products, technical advice, project support and after-sales service, ensuring complete continuity for both current and future projects.
The transition has been jointly planned by Nedal, ALC and C.U. Phosco to provide customers with complete confidence that existing relationships, product availability and technical support will continue without interruption.
