CU Phosco has been recognised for excellence with two significant accreditations that reinforce its commitment to responsible delivery across the infrastructure and construction sectors.
The company has received the Avetta ESG Innovator Award and has retained Gold Status within the VINCI Construction Scheme. Together, these recognitions reflect consistently high standards across CU Phosco’s environmental, social and governance performance, as well as its approach to safety, quality and responsible working practices.
AVETTA ESG INNOVATOR AWARD
CU Phosco is proud to have received the Avetta ESG Innovator Award for the second consecutive year. The award recognises organisations that demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices aligned with Avetta’s core values of safety, sustainability and security.
The recognition reflects leadership in promoting transparency, reducing environmental and social risks and embedding responsible working practices across the business. CU Phosco is assessed across all areas of the organisation, including policies and operational practices, through a robust and highly stringent review process.
VINCI CONSTRUCTION GOLD STATUS
CU Phosco has also retained Gold Status within the VINCI Construction Scheme, demonstrating exceptional practice and reinforcing its position as a trusted supplier across the VINCI network. This Gold Status applies across VINCI organisations in the UK, including leading contractors, and highways and infrastructure specialists Taylor Woodrow, Ringway, Eurovia UK, and FM Conway.
To retain Gold Status, suppliers must achieve a score of at least 45 out of 50, secure a minimum of 8 out of 10 in every category and record no major or serious non-conformances. Assessment is based on five areas covering community, environmental performance, workforce welfare, workforce protection and site standards.
A SHARED ACHIEVEMENT
Receiving the Avetta ESG Innovator Award for the second year running and retaining VINCI Construction Gold Status reflects the high standards delivered by teams across CU Phosco every day. These recognitions demonstrate the company’s commitment to responsible practices, strong governance and being a trusted partner to customers across the infrastructure sector.
“I am incredibly proud of the teams behind these achievements,” said Matt Murray, Sales and Marketing Director at CU Phosco. “Thank you to everyone across the business for the professionalism and care you bring to your work. These recognitions reflect a shared commitment to doing the right thing for our customers, our communities and the environment.”.
