The HEA Conference & Awards is one of the standout events in our calendar, and this year was no exception. We returned in 2025 with a huge sense of pride, taking home three major awards, a fitting reflection of the effort, dedication, and teamwork across the company.
MEMBER ORGANISATION OF THE YEAR – LARGE
We were honoured to be voted HEA/HEMSA Member Organisation of the Year – Large, a category based on the views of fellow members. To receive this recognition for the 8th time means a great deal to us. It reinforces the trust that customers, contractors, and colleagues place in our products, our service, and our people.
CELEBRATING OUR PEOPLE
While the organisational win was a highlight, the evening was made even more special by two individual honours.
EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR 2025: CELEBRATING CLARE SAGGS
Clare has been part of CU Phosco since 1991, and throughout that time she has consistently strengthened how we work as a business. Over the past year she played a central role in the successful rollout of our EFACS 2024 system upgrade, a major project that touched every area of the organisation. Her attention to detail, calm leadership, and deep understanding of our operations continue to make a real difference. It was fantastic to see Clare recognised amongst our peers.
APPRENTICE OF THE YEAR 2025: RECOGNISING OLLIE LANGHAM
We were equally proud to see Ollie receive the Apprentice of the Year award. Since joining us in 2022, he has shown outstanding progress in his NVQs and made a valuable contribution across the Contract Services Division. His involvement in key projects, from day-to-day operations, to work at RAF Mildenhall, reflects both his growing capability and the strength of our apprenticeship pathways. Supporting the next generation of engineers is a priority for us, and Ollie’s award is a perfect example of why that matters.
A NIGHT THAT REFLECTS WHO WE ARE
The HEA Awards are always a brilliant opportunity to connect with colleagues across the industry, learn from others, and celebrate the people who keep the sector moving forward. This year’s triple win feels particularly special because it highlights two things we care deeply about: the quality of our work and the success of our people.
We want to congratulate all nominees and winners from across the sector. It was an inspiring evening, and we’re proud to have been part of it.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s event and keeping our fingers crossed for even more to celebrate.
