BD Eastern Region Para Team Sponsorship
CU Phosco® Lighting are very proud to sponsor the British Dressage Eastern Region Para Team. They recently took part in an international competition and we are delighted to say they came 2nd place.

British Dressage Eastern Region sent its first Para Team to the sixth BD Para Home International competition. It was at Vale View Equestrian centre near Melton Mowbray over the weekend of 3-5th June 2016.  The team consisted of 4 disabled riders, and their excellent trainers and helpers.  One of them is Jason Marques, a grandson of the company’s founder. He is profoundly deaf and has Cerebral Palsy.  The riders performed twice over the weekend. Their percentages were added up to make the team score.  The team came 2nd against 8 other teams from all over the UK.  As a result, our Chairman and Managing Director are pleased to sponsor the team.  Katharine Perry, the Regional Development Officer, said “British Dressage Eastern Region is delighted to be teaming up with CU Phosco to further the training and success of Para riders in the region.  Through British Dressage, there is a growing number of talented and determined riders who do not let their disabilities stand in the way of riding and training their horses to compete in dressage competitions.  The backing of CU Phosco will enable our riders to have more training, help with travel costs and entry fees and generally work towards their individual and team goals."
