The stand alone hybrid renewable energy street light is powered by energy from sun and wind. Energy from the sun is collected by the solar photovoltaic panels and the electricity produced, along with that generated by the wind turbine, is stored by a deep-cycle battery supplied with the system. A unique energy management system
controls battery charging and load management.
Grid connected HybrolightTM systems contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gases. Electricity is generated from the wind turbine and solar panels and the surplus is fed into the electricity grid for later use for the light in the hours of darkness.
